2025 COMMITTEE

Introducing our 2025 Committee! They work tirelessly to bring you the best trips, events and club atmosphere on campus! And we promise they’re very friendly so wave hello if you see them around!

Patrick bradfield smith - PRESIDENT

Please welcome the 2025 MUSKI President, President Bradfield Smith. A snow-loving adventurer, and a true MUSKI patriot. If there is one thing Pat can guarantee, it is ensuring club morale is living up to its name, Ski Party Love. Also known as Pat, or some kind of PBS acronym, you won’t find someone more dedicated to MUSKI than this man. He has spent more time reading and amending the MUSKI constitution than he has doing his uni work. However, when Pat isn’t busy pursuing his firefighting or hustling the full time engineering grind, he is doing all thing skiing. Pat loves a good shred on the slopes, helping around the clubhouse, or he is busy planning a new ski trip and eyeing off some new demo skis. With his 2024/25 season in Japan, Pat is ready to serve MUSKI and serve them well with plenty of knowledge, plenty of seshing, but most importantly, plenty of love.

thomas lukies - TREASURER

A true MUSKI veteran, our lord and saviour, King Lukies is back at it for another year of chaos. After a sensational stint as hire coordinator—where he proved to be a certified freak in the (spread)sheets—our beloved Lukies returns to MUSKI Committee, this time taking on the high-stakes role of treasurer. Despite being a RMIT student through and through, he’s somehow found himself in charge of every dollar, jug, and cent in the MUSKI coffers. Who approved this? We’re still figuring that one out. But let’s be honest, MUSKI clearly knows how to manage talent, unlike some clubs that still haven’t figured out how to organise buses to the mountain.

madi jeffares - SECRETARY

What can we say about our Madi J that hasn't already been said? She's down for a sesh, she's down for a boogie, she's down to make ethical decisions about the wellbeing of members, she's down to make you question how much alcohol you think is acceptable to drink on a night out, but then she’s down to help you into bed and show you she really does care! All of this and then she's up in the morning just so she can be downhill of you on the slopes. Our secretary is a bundle of energy and if you can keep up with her, you're guaranteed to have an awesome time and create some great memories!

james sutherland - trips COORDINATOR

James ‘Sutho’ Sutherland, consumer of fine beer and fresh pow. This Steezy Scottish lad has proven himself on MUSKI’s hire team, and is back to flaunt his kilt as Hotham/Falls Creek Trips Coordinator. Sutho has a folio of ski trips covering more resorts than most people could name, including a season as a lifty in Canada (he wouldn’t tell you about it), so he really knows all the sickest slopes in the area. With finely tuned sesh senses, Sutho can hunt down the best beats and brews of any area. A trip with this bloke is sure to be a wild time both on and off the slopes.

maddie barron - TRIPS COORDINATOR

The infamous Maddie Barron, joining the 2025 MUSKI Committee for the second year running, moving on from social rep in 2024 to organising the best trips of the season! This will be Maddie’s third year in MUSKI, having herself now led several trips, including the unforgettable international trip to New Zealand, in which she managed to keep everyone out of harm’s way for the most part! Whilst Maddie’s homeland of Wimbledon in the UK lacks snow, and despite her enormous feet and gigantic height, she remains an incredible skier, and MUSKI member, full of passion, commitment, love and enthusiasm for the year ahead, equipped to handle any challenge including Victoria’s poor snow fall! Be sure to catch Maddie on the iconic trips she has planned for 2025, she is always down for a great chat, but if you get her started on shrimps or her ski season in Courchevel you are in for a long ride. We are thrilled for another great year of Maddie Barron on committee and looking forward to SKI, PARTY, LOVE once more with her!

charlie rose - racing trips coordinator

Alright, what’s all this then? Charles Rose is back for another term on the committee this year, this time serving as MUSKI’s very own Racing Coordinator. The self-proclaimed “best skier on the mountain” is ski patrol’s biggest nightmare, haunting them with his orange Black Crows and dragon onesie—and he's on a mission to do so on the slopes of every country that will let him in. As one of our most dedicated and committed members, Charlie has stuck through a record number of MUSKI trips in the couple of years he's spent with our club and manages to attend every event he can—always with a beer in hand. That is, of course, unless he’s off on yet another flight. However, he now returns with a promise to actually be in Australia for the majority of the year, ensuring that MUSKI will thrive on unmatched vibes and unforgettable times.

emily carlson - HIRE COORDINATOR and welfare representative

Wee-woo wee-woo that's the sound of Emily, our in-house paramedic and most qualified welfare representative ever (don't fact check that)! Not only that, but she's fresh out of a ski season spent in Japan so you can trust you'll be in good hands on and off the slopes. This true MVP of MUSKI might only now be a Uni Melb student but she sure is dedicated, taking on ANOTHER role in our beloved Ski Hire team. You'd think all that would take up enough time but Emily has beers on speed dial and is certain to see you at the pub! Her seemingly endless energy is perfect for a quality chat and she can keep you partying 'til the early hours, so don't miss our untiring, ski hiring, welfare-inspiring extraordinaire!

Anastasia Polyakova - Hire Coordinator

Found guilty of alcoholism, Anastasia (Staij) Polyakova will be serving her second sentence as Ski Hire Coordinator. Her excellent knowledge of all things SKI (sesh, klub, intoxication) makes her the perfect candidate for this job. She’s an expert on all things tuning, binding, edging and DINs (she learned that last one the hard way). Staij is kind and funny; the best person on and off the mountain. She was even voted Trip Leader of the Year 2024. She shows up to every social event, every BBQ and every committee meeting, where she’s learned, since emigrating from Russia, what voting and democracy are. Staij loves animals, earning her the nickname Staij Irwin. When she’s not on the slopes, she can be found tending to her sea monkey colony at home, which live with her camp chairs and house plant Terrence in her almost empty living room. We are thrilled to have Staij back on our 2025 committee, she is truly the best 21 year old, female, Russian with an American accent, third year science student, skier in Melbourne.

yannik wikramanayake - hire coordinator

New Zealand’s finest import Yannik is joining the ranks for his first year on committee. The sexiest skier on and off the slopes. His luscious long locks and mesmerising technique captivate everyone’s eye on the mountain. But he’s more than just good looks, coming from the ski school factory that is Cardrona’s racing team he’s down the mountain quicker than you can say his last name. He’s all quiet and loving until the skis come on and before you know it he’s a mere speck in the distance. Yannik is also renowned wearing dresses and bringing his work to the slopes. Caught skiing laptop in hand, this bloke doesn’t know the meaning of a day off. There is simply nobody better to be tuning and fitting your skis than Yannik … however his last name is. Just a word of warning, don’t challenge him to a one ski race, he will beat you.

agatha meehan - social officer

Brand new to adult life but a true ski veteran, Ag is trading tractor tracks for ski tracks as she joins MUSKI’s strongest lineup, proving that agriculture students aren’t just good at growing crops—they’re also excellent at growing vibes. Although she’s been a ski-legend for longer than she remembers, Ag hit her peak this season as she became the first known human to combine Hobby-Horsing and skiing in a majestic display of farm-wizardry that will get you questioning your own sanity (and her blood-alcohol level). Off the slopes, Ag’s trips to the ever-so-boring Dookie campus built her into a true legend able to thrive for weeks on pure spirit (no water necessary). With credentials like these, it’s no wonder she’s stepped into the role of Chief Vibes Officer and Social Rep for MUSKI. Whether she’s hosting a next-level après-ski or rallying the crew for an epic night out, Ag’s guaranteed to have you partying like it’s the last run of the day (as long as it’s not during court—she’ll be busy munting then).

noah rindschwentner - social officer

Meet Noah: a true sesh gremlin and adrenaline junkie always ready to hit the slopes! His view on life is literally “Live like there’s snow tomorrow”! As one of MUSKI’s social reps this year, get ready for some legendary events coming up. This sexy man has recently spent three months backpacking Southeast Asia and knows how to have a good time! With his fancy European ski technique, Noah is an addict for the shred and will happily take you on for a ‘top speed’ challenge. On the mountain, he’s also known for chatting up ski groomers, and for his creative theme outfits (ask him for pics). Whether on or off the mountain, get ready for an exciting year with the one and only Noah R (surname too hard to pronounce).

rob larcher - sponsorship, Merchandise & Marketing officer

Introducing our merch aficionado, Rob Larcher! Taking up the mantle this year, his design background will certainly ensure any and all MUSKI merch will have the expertise of a true legend. The sworn enemy of a cold beer, Rob hails from St Kevins but don’t let that fool you into stereotypes, as this private school boy has wholeheartedly embraced MUSKI and the culture of our club. A demon down the slopes, afterwards you’ll find him with a smile on his face and a jug in his hand as he retells stories of how sick his jump was (barely got off the ground) or how close he was to wiping out a ski school lesson (he was barely in their postcode). Make sure to get around this powder-loving, design wizard this year!
